Yoga in a Bag GmbH

1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, memberships, workshops, retreats, teacher trainings, events and online offerings provided by Yoga in a Bag GmbH.
By booking any service or purchasing a membership, the participant agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Participation Requirements & Personal Responsibility
Participation in all Yoga in a Bag activities is entirely at the participant’s own responsibility.
By registering, participants confirm that they are physically and mentally fit to take part in the booked activity and that no medical condition prevents safe participation.
Participants with injuries, illnesses, chronic conditions, mental health concerns, pregnancies, recent surgeries or any other health related concerns are strongly advised to seek medical advice before participating.
Participants are responsible for informing the teacher before class, a workshop, retreat or training of any physical limitations, injuries, medical conditions or circumstances that may affect their participation.
Yoga in a Bag does not provide medical, physiotherapeutic, psychological or therapeutic treatment. All offerings are intended solely for wellbeing, movement, education, relaxation and personal development.
Participants are responsible for practicing within their own limits and for modifying or stopping any exercise that causes discomfort, pain or concern.

3. Liability Waiver
Participation in all Yoga in a Bag activities is at the participant’s own risk.
Yoga in a Bag GmbH, its teachers, employees, contractors and representatives accept no liability for:
• Injuries, accidents or health related complications
• Physical or psychological reactions occurring during or after participation
• Aggravation of existing injuries or medical conditions
• Loss, theft or damage of personal belongings
• Damages resulting from failure to follow instructions or from overexertion
• Damages arising from undisclosed health conditions or limitations
To the extent permitted by Swiss law, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded.
Any liability for indirect damages, consequential damages or loss of profit is excluded.
Participants are solely responsible for maintaining adequate health, accident and liability insurance coverage.

4. Memberships & Passes
All regular Yoga in a Bag memberships and class passes may be used across all Yoga in a Bag studio locations.
Monthly memberships renew automatically for the selected membership period unless cancelled in writing by email before the next renewal date.
This model is designed to encourage a consistent, sustainable and long term yoga practice.
All members receive an email reminder prior to renewal. If a cancellation request is submitted immediately after an automatic renewal, Yoga in a Bag may accept the cancellation retroactively to the renewal date as a gesture of goodwill. This does not apply to cancellations submitted several weeks after the renewal has taken place.
Memberships, passes and subscriptions are non transferable and may not be shared with other persons.
Any pauses, exceptions or special arrangements remain at the sole discretion of Yoga in a Bag.

5. Class Bookings & Cancellation Policy
Regular Classes
Regular classes may be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late cancellations or no shows may be charged in full.
Workshops
Workshops may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the workshop, or failure to attend, will result in the full fee being charged.

6. Retreats
Participation
Retreats require significant planning and advance commitments regarding accommodation, catering, venues and external providers.
Participation is at the participant’s own responsibility.
Participants are responsible for:
• Travel arrangements
• Personal insurance coverage
• Medical fitness to participate
• Compliance with any travel or entry requirements
Retreat Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
The following cancellation fees apply:
• Up to 60 days before the retreat start date: Full refund
• 59 to 30 days before the retreat start date: 50% of the retreat fee is due
• 29 to 14 days before the retreat start date: 75% of the retreat fee is due
• 13 days or less before the retreat start date, or no show: 100% of the retreat fee is due
No refund will be granted for late arrival, early departure or unused retreat services.
Participants may nominate a replacement participant, subject to approval by Yoga in a Bag.
7. Teacher Trainings & Educational Programs
Included in the Training Fee
Unless otherwise stated, the training fee includes:
• All training weekends and training content
• Training manuals, handouts and educational materials provided by the organizers
• Assessment and certification process upon successful completion
• Included retreat components as specified in the training description
• Access to regular Yoga in a Bag classes throughout the training period
• 50% discount on the Yoga in a Bag 12 Month Membership during the training period
Not Included
• Travel expenses
• Meals unless specifically stated
• Accommodation unless specifically stated
• Personal insurance coverage
• Additional books or materials not provided by the organizers
Certification Requirements
Participation in a teacher training does not automatically guarantee certification.
Certification is granted only upon satisfactory completion of all attendance, coursework, assignments, assessments and program requirements.
Yoga in a Bag reserves the right to withhold certification if the required standards are not met.

Teacher Training Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email.
The following cancellation fees apply:
• Up to 60 days before the training start date: Full refund
• 59 to 30 days before the training start date: 50% of the training fee is due
• 29 to 14 days before the training start date: 75% of the training fee is due
• 13 days or less before the training start date, or no show: 100% of the training fee is due
No refund will be granted once the training has commenced, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
Participants may nominate a replacement participant up to 7 days before the training start date, subject to approval by Yoga in a Bag.
Any retreat included within the training program forms an integral part of the training and is not eligible for separate refunds.

8. Changes or Cancellation by Yoga in a Bag
Yoga in a Bag reserves the right to modify schedules, teachers, venues, course content, class formats or program details where reasonably necessary.
Yoga in a Bag may cancel, postpone or modify any offering due to illness, force majeure, insufficient participant numbers or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
In such cases, any payments already made for cancelled services will be refunded. No further claims may be made against Yoga in a Bag.

9. Photography & Media
Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during classes, workshops, retreats or trainings for marketing and communication purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in such material must inform Yoga in a Bag before the start of the event.

10. Data Protection
Personal information will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection laws.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by Swiss law.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.

12. Severability
Should any provision of these Terms & Conditions become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
